Mary Martha Thrift Shop
Mary Martha Thrift Store (MM) is a small, but busy non-profit thrift shop run completely by volunteers from 8 different Christian churches in Wentzville and neighboring cities. All profits made at MM are donated back into the community to various (about 20) non-profit organizations, including the SVDP Food Pantry & St. Patrick’s Elementary School.
Mary Martha is located at 9 W. Koenig St., Wentzville. The store is open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am-4 pm, and on Saturdays from 9 am to noon, except on holidays. MM’s prices are truly a bargain, as they are generally considerably lower than at most thrift shops.
Volunteers from St Patrick’s are responsible for running the store for an entire week once every 8 weeks only. We are always in need of more volunteers to both sort & price items, & to work in the store for the entire week. Volunteers usually work half or full days, 1 or 2 days every 8 weeks, depending upon their availability. If you love treasure hunting for bargains, while volunteering with a wonderful group of people and helping others, this ministry is for you! We need all kinds of people! Volunteers can work as much or as little as they prefer. Contact Dodi Edinger at 636 791-2001 or Mary Bartolotta at 636 856-0590 or from St. Pat’s for more information, or to volunteer.
Upcoming weeks that St Pat’s is scheduled to run the store in 2015 are:
